Who can join?
Teens(13-18) who want to make something with code. Beginners are very welcome.
What should I make?
Make any small p5.js sketch: something basic, shapes, particles, or whatever feels fun, and whatever you would want to make real. Be warned something like an animation will be differcult to print but if you have enough hours then you can print multiple like a flipbook.
What do I submit?
Submit your p5.js share link and screenshots using the above form.
Can I code in VS Code?
Yes. If you want your p5.js time to count in Hackatime, use VS Code with the p5.js project generator extension. The official p5.js VS Code setup guide can help you get your sketch running locally.
What happens after I submit?
We’ll review your sketch, how many hours you worked on your sketch, and mail you physical prints or stickers of your artwork.
How many prints or stickers can I get?
Ideally, 1 hour of work equals 1 print. That reward can include multiple stickers or prints or sometimes just the 1, and you can choose multiple prints of multiple artworks. If you made around 6 hours of work, you can choose both stickers and prints.
